We have a large lawn area for sun bathing with an adjoining swimming pool (36' x 16' and 3' deep). We have courts for petanque, badminton, volleyball and mini-ten. as well as a play area for children equipped with swings, slide, climbing frame and see-saw and a wendy house, We also have a table-tennis table and pool table situated in the Lodge. Our Lodge is a large comfortable modern building with a well-equipped kitchen to serve the needs of the members. The Lodge is also the venue for most of the social functions we organise each year We also have a toilet and shower block. Built with wheelchair access and young children in mind, it has ramp access and facilities for parents to attend to their children as well as clean modern toilets and hot showers. All the facilities at Oakwood are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness especially the pool - the chemicals and ph level being checked almost every day during the summer months for the safety of swimmers "After a week of work, kids and a busy London life, Oakwood is a sanctuary, somewhere we can really unwind, enjoy the sun and let the kids play in a wonderful pool |
